AUSTIN, TEX. – Bologna Sandwich is a punk band which has been a part of the dampest music scene since 2022, year of Our Lady Bigfoot (previously Accursed Bird). For booking, please email hauntedbologna@gmail.com “We don’t talk about the bird of prayer, Bigfoot, enough,” said Peter Anderson, a singer in the band. “Loss and heartache are hard and people don’t like to talk about it. You haven’t had the relationship with Bigfoot that you secretly wished for. Your tears are not a hoax.” It’s not that she doesn’t love you (she’s not a deadbeat). She’s just dead and at the bottom of Town Lake. We are here to proclaim the good news to you, though: come see Bologna Sandwich and commune with Bigfoot’s Ghost.1 And it shall come to dance; as above, so below.2

3 Piece Grunge-Pop Alt Rock Band

Metal Rock

We live by 4 words: Fuck it we ball. Based in Austin, TX Dose Rose was founded in Bloomington, IN mere weeks before the world shut down in 2020, beginning their journey with a painful hiatus before finally reuniting and trying to navigate a decimated music scene. Since, they established themselves as a staple of Indiana's rock scene, expanded to regional and national markets, and relocated to Austin, TX. Riley Huffman (Lead Vocals, Bass) and John Sadler (Drummer) recruited Vinny Greene (Vocals, Guitar) following the dissolving of their previous band. Dose Rose's sound is heavily influenced by alt rock from the 90's and early 00's including Foo Fighters, Paramore, and Alice in Chains. Although, if you asked everyone for their favorite artists, you would get an incredibly diverse list including Post Malone, Sir Chloe, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Mac Miller, and Jimmy Eat World. All of which contributes to their unique sound. Their latest project, "What if I," marked the end of Dose Rose's tenure in Indiana. These tracks are a half-decade culmination of Riley's brooding lyrics and unique melodies, John's earth-shattering power behind the kit, and Vinny's driving melodic riffs. Their upcoming EP is set to release in mid 2026.

Ragabash is an eclectic garage band "showcasing a stabbing and distorted offkilter style...crowd-pleasing organized chaos and all-hands-on-deck approach to vocal harmonies." - Jack Anderson, KUTX Ragabash released their debut album “Lotus Eater”, in 2023, and are currently writing their sophomore effort. The single "Daydream" was KUTX song of the day: "Immerse yourself in Ragabash’s appreciation for that short sweet space after staccato sequences, with “Daydream”. Its trumpet solo, bold dynamics, and instrumental interplay are sure to keep you lucid well past hump day and right into the weekend.” Sounds like: Joy Division, The Stooges, Fontaines D.C., Miles Davis

Metallic art punk by mother-daughter duo

Metal Pop Rock

Teenage drummer and her riot mom brew up a cauldron of “metallic art punk” in a backyard studio in Austin, Texas. Visual artist Lalena, formerly of NYC’s The Color Guard and The Hissyfits, plays guitar while Annika kicks ass behind the kit. They named their project for the supportive outer shell of a sculptural mold. The Mothermold is an experiment in superimposing a mother-daughter bond on the stereotypically male “rock band” trope. Their original songs fuse metal, punk, prog and pop, while exploring ideas of coming of age, love, mythology, darkness, and the cosmos. The Mothermold released their debut album Flesh of My Flesh as a duo in the fall of 2022. Having performed in area venues since 2017, Annika and Lalena started recording during the pandemic lockdown of 2020 when Annika was 12; the album was completed two years later with final vocal tracks (Annika's voice had changed!). Flesh of My Flesh vibrates with hooks, harmonies, and heavy guitars; and traverses from triumph to joy to despair and back. The Mothermold has performed at venues in London and New York, as well as venues closer to home including the outdoor stage at the Moody Center for Harry Styles' Love on Tour concert in Austin. The duo has rocked the Johnson Park Amphitheater for the Highland Lakes Equality Fest in Marble Falls, Texas; and Austin's Empire Control Room for YouTube Presents DIY Showcase. Other local venues where The Mothermold has performed include Austin Beer Garden & Brewery, Flamingo Cantina, The Parlor, Hole in the Wall, Carousel Lounge, Batch Craft Beer and Kolaches, the Austin Public Library and the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Glam Daddy Blues

Blues Rock

Jeremiah Jackson is the king of Glam Daddy Blues, a genre that didn’t even exist until he invented it a few years ago. It’s basically an amalgamation of all that’s inspired him since he began playing guitar in high school 15 years ago, in the small East Texas town of Longview: Early ‘70s David Bowie-style glam, Led Zeppelin/Santana/Hendrix-style classic rock, and garage-blues duos such as The White Stripes and The Black Keys. And it’s all centered around one core message: “I Believe In You.”
