Biography

This Side of Grey is an Austin-based rock band with influences in alternative/indie, blues, psychedelic rock, and R&B. The band was formed by Logan James (guitar, vocals) and Julian Byrne (bass) in 2021 and they played their first gig in March 2022. Douglas Blatt (drums) joined in the summer of 2022. With over 50 shows played across Texas at festivals, clubs, indie venues, breweries, and bars, the band released their first three singles as well as an EP of studio outtakes in 2024. Their fourth single, ‘Life Moves On,’ was released on February 9th, 2025.
