Biography

Scott Collins is a singer-songwriter known for his deeply personal storytelling in Americana, Indie, Pop, and collaborative efforts in music. In 2019, the Austin Mayor declared January 31st "Scott Collins Day," recognizing his influence on the local music scene. His songs, praised for their emotional depth and authenticity, have earned him accolades, including praise from Austin City Limits Executive Producer Terry Lickona. Outside of his music career, Collins founded Chicken Run Studios, mentors children in the foster care system through Kids In A New Groove, and volunteers with organizations like the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians and the SIMS Foundation. Collins views his musical journey as a dream fulfilled, emphasizing hard work and giving back to others.
