Ruthie Craft is an Austin-based cinematic indie-pop artist whose work has earned recognition for both its emotional impact and visual storytelling. Since emerging from the Texas music scene, she has built a reputation for powerful live performances, thoughtful songwriting, and a clear artistic point of view.
In 2024, Ruthie released her debut EP Sound of Blue, followed by Sound of Blue: Live from Orb Studios, a live studio recording that captures the raw intensity of her performances. The music videos for “Nineteen” and “Just Believe” were awarded Best Music Video at the Austin Spotlight Awards, with “Just Believe” later receiving Special Selection recognition at the Berlin Music Video Awards. Her work has been highlighted by The Austin Chronicle, and she has performed extensively across the Austin music scene, appearing on bills alongside established national artists.
Originally from rural Washington and now based in Austin, Ruthie’s music is rooted in emotional honesty and restraint.
