Biography

Original and experimental, Muthabug is a collective born from medicinal music mantras. Blending elements of jazz, hiphop, and soul, the collective brings together a groove based sound steeped in ancient traditions. "What kind of music do you hear when you get real quiet? Aimed at soothing the soul, communing with the present moment, and finding peace within the fabric of human existence. With bold, diverse rhythms and honest lyrical execution, the foundational duo of Muthabug, Michael Longoria and Noa Belillti, invite listeners to release convention and find deeper meaning beyond the mundane.

Themes from passion to protest can be found woven into their pieces, while expansive genres including Jazz, Hip/Hop, and World music accentuate their mission to maintain raw performances that emulate the human condition.
