There are certain artists that challenge your understanding of conventions within a genre, while still being able to keep their sound engaging- with enough playfulness and charisma to draw in a wide range of listeners. This is the case with Kardinal Bloo.
Kardinal Bloo is a multifaceted artist of Haitian descent from Arlington, Tx. While Kardinal's always had a love for music, he didn't start making it until he was studying medicine & psychology at the University of North Texas in Denton. It was there that he met fellow rapper Jaize, with whom he formed the duo Global Octopus. What started as a welcomed distraction from boring classes turned into an undeniable passion for expressing himself through words. Denton proved an excellent starting ground rife with open mics, house shows, and small venues that allowed Kardinal to master his stagecraft alongside his lyricism, giving birth to the style he likes to call "Class Conscious Rap Nonsense (CCRN)". Kardinal Bloo earned a reputation for being an exhilarating & charming performer, which opened the doors for him to perform alongside artists such as R.A.P. Ferreira, Asher Roth, Quelle Chris, and more.
As of 2025, Kardinal Bloo is based out of Austin & currently working on the follow-up to his stellar solo debut album "Birds Rap Too", an eclectic collection of black expression that merges scintillating lyricism with revolutionary pragmatism and earnest joie de vivre.
