Born and raised in Ohio, John Taylor is a singer–songwriter currently based in Austin, Texas. After releasing his self–titled debut EP in 2022, he’s built a steady presence performing throughout Central Texas. His newest release, Back To My Old Kentucky Home, offers a first glimpse at the full-length album to come in Fall 2025.
John’s music is a snapshot of him, where he’s been, and where he’s going. You can hear heartland rock influences in his storytelling, from the Rust Belt to the heart of Texas – a trip well worth the taking.
In 2021, John developed Noteworthy, a radio show and podcast in which he interviews musicians that influenced him, creating opportunities for the music community to listen and learn. Featuring artists such as John Illsley of Dire Straits, David Grissom, and Chuck Leavell, Noteworthy is broadcast on KGTN Radio Georgetown.
