Balladier of Jesus Freaks & Trust Funds
Connor Palomino is a case of oddity in country music. A fly on the wall that's either mistaken for somebody's kid or a bar hand, Connor has understanding beyond his years for the delicate authenticity of Texas country music.
Born in Anaheim, California and raised devoutly mormon, Connor straddled an upbringing of rigid religious belief, and a growing desire to pursue passions in music after moving to Texas halfway through middle school, which led him to playing throughout various bands or projects from high school to college. Releasing self produced EP's and singles under various stage names, Connor bounced around bar jobs and stage gigs until picking up a hitchhiking coworker that convinced him to change his degree and re-invest his passion back into music, eventually pursuing the dream to record his first studio album about southern mystique.
Connor resides in San Marcos, Texas, drawing inspiration from regional legends, such as Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt, having the opportunity to share the same fated stages whenever God allows it. The self proclaimed "Cosmic Folkstar" has built a deep fried mythology behind his spastic ghostly prescience in Texas's scene, and self producing his albums & releasing them under his own label, he's ready to put some miles on this thing.
